How to export your animated travel map
Preview your route, choose an export preset and generate the file. This guide explains formats, framing, quality and how to retrieve the completed download.

Open the Export page
Use Export video beneath the map. On desktop the preview and controls are alongside each other; on mobile scroll between the preview and export options. Animation requires at least two included stops; one is enough for a still PNG.
Pick the format
Presets use MP4. Advanced settings also offers WebM, silent GIF, still PNG and a ZIP sequence of PNG frames. MP4/WebM can include sound; the other formats cannot. Browser support may change the actual container or codec: read the completed-file panel before uploading to a platform.
Pick the aspect ratio
Pick the ratio that matches your platform: 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts; 1:1 for an Instagram feed post; 16:9 for YouTube and X. The preview adjusts instantly so you can verify the framing.
- Reels / TikTok / Shorts → 9:16, 1080×1920
- Instagram feed → 1:1, 1080×1080
- YouTube / X → 16:9, 1920×1080
Quality and length
Use Fast for a test, then an available HD or Full HD option as needed. Exact dimensions depend on framing and are displayed beside the quality; frame rate is separate. GIF is limited to 720 px and 15 fps. 4K depends on access and browser capabilities; Pro is not yet a publicly available paid plan.
Render and download
Start export and keep the tab open. Progress and cancellation are shown during rendering. When complete, the download starts and a panel shows the actual format, size, resolution and duration. Download again reuses this file until you leave or reload the page. On failure, use the displayed retry action; the last successful file is retained.
